Building our New Normal:
One Sensory Space at a Time
Our Comitment
Created by Maya and Lara Hammoud, The Perception Foundation is creating a world where individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders—and all those who experience the world differently—can access the support they need to thrive.
With this, we are building our new normal: one where sensory spaces are part of everyday life. Whether it be rooms, events, kits, or even sensory carts, we are committed to increasing access to environments that help regulate, empower, and include. By making sensory spaces more available, we’re paving the way for a future where everyone, whether neurotypical or neurodiverse, can thrive.
Our Impact
Since its inception, The Perception Foundation has impacted over 365,000 people — from individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) who’ve directly benefited from our sensory tools and spaces, to educators, families, and community members who’ve joined us in reimagining inclusion and breaking stigma behind NDDs.
